Safari Restaurant is situated in the east of Pretoria, at the foot of the Bronberg where it nestles in a peaceful Bushveld environment and has been incorporated into the largest, most successful gardening centre in the country. Beautiful waterfalls compliment the state of the art conference/function centre, which has a thatched roof and the walls are clad with stone. These facilities are suitable for any occasion.
The varied Safari facilities are inclusive of:
· A stone chapel built for weddings
· Conference and function rooms
· An open air boma for performances
· A play park for children
· A ladies’ pub with a television screen for watching sport events
Safari’s beautiful stone chapel with its Gothic lead glass windows undoubtedly stimulates romance and is ideal for weddings. It is not affiliated to any religious group or church denomination and therefore is suitable for all.
The chapel accommodates 220 people and is fitted with a red carpet, its own music system, embroidered chairs and a register table made of sand stone, where marital pledges are signed.
The Restaurant has a fully equipped kitchen and bakery, which serves the tea garden as well as the function rooms.
In the tea garden a a la Carté menu is offered, and on Saturdays and Sundays a scrumptious buffet breakfast is available. A typical South African lunch buffet is served on Sundays only.
There are a variety of existing buffet menus, featuring excellent dishes for the bridal reception or any other function. It is possible to select and mix and match the most suitable dishes from the various menus.
The menus are changed every season, which serves to emphasise the quality guests can expect. A typical example is the home baked cakes and pastries.
